Transport

In 1900 the new exciting invention of the car changed the way people used transport. These new cars were called "horseless carriages." Trams, bikes and horse-drawn carts were also popular forms of transport. By 1919 cars had outnumbered horse-drawn transport. Steam trains were also a major form of transport.
