"Each
season seemed to bring a dramatic fashion change."
Australia
in the Twentieth Century: the 1990s

In
the summer of 1996 and 1997, the fashion turned back to the time of
1960s. Short, straight dressed were decorated hippieš signs of peace
and flowers. Lime-green and orange were very popular colours for that
season. But when the autumn of 1997 came, clothes were like those
of the 1970s. Flared pants, tight tops, and platform shoes in chocolate
brown were making their comeback. |
