The BIG change in women's fashion!
A woman in 1915

Women wore tight hobble skirts in the 1910's. The hobble skirts stopped at the ankles were tight all the way down, and as a result, women found it difficult to walk. Due to the World War 1 clothes in towns dropped their fanciness.

The Gored skirt was fashionable in these years; the skirt was flat in the front, had very close fitting to the knee and flared. at the bottom.

Shorter skirts, free styles and shoes with sensible heels. Hairstyles were simpler. In1918 skirts which were calf length, became straighter and remained so until 1922 when it became long again. From 1910 to 1922 the waistline of the skirts reached to at about natural level emphasised by a belt or sash.
